why eugleena placed in zoology​

Answer:

Because they belongs to kingdom protista. They behave like photosynthetic plants in presence of light and heterotropes in absence of light. Interestingly, they are used to study algae as well as protista. And these terms belongs to Zoology but studied in Botany too in some extent.

Euglena is not placed in zoology. It comes under Phylum Protista.
