When evaporation occurs then than the liquid (mostly water) absorbs all the heat from the surroundings and take it with it and we feel cool. evaporation causes cooling effect because the heat energy is abosorbed by surrounding particles.

Heya !

Here's your answer !!

EVAPORATION CAUSES COOLING

In an open vessel, the liquid keeps on evaporating. The particles of liquid absorb energy from the surrounding to regain the energy lost during evaporation. This absorption of energy from the surroundings make the surroundings cold.
