Heya!

Marks really do matter. These days if you have to study in prestigeous schools or colleges, they'll see your progress in your report cards. Many prestigeous schools and colleges have a limited percentage according to those percentages,if the student has scored a good sum of marks, they allow them for their entrance examinations. It's not the only criteria on which they allow them in their institutions, they also check the feedbacks of previous schools or colleges about you. Of you have been scoring good, teachers from the past schools or colleges give good feedbacks or reviews about you.

Therefore,marks matter!

Maybe, my answer could be different in everyone's views. But in my view, marks never matter the one. It always matter the one's skill.

We shouldn't take marks as our progress, one's only reading. It matters the understanding.

On other hand, In high-education colleges & schools, yeah, there's importance of marks as well. So we should take - both marks and personal knowledge on different places as important equally.

Thanks.
