For example chlorine is less reactive than fluorine because the outer electrons in achlorine atom are further from the nucleus than the outer electrons in a fluorineatom. It is harder for a chlorine atom to gain an electron than it is for a fluorineatom.

HELLO FRIENDS,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In nature fluorine gas more reactive than chlorine gas because due to size of its atom. since size of atom of flourine is smaller outer shell is closer to the nucleus and due to smaller size if a new electrom come near to this atom nucleus will attract fastly.

Best of luck ;)
