Having less sodium in your diet may help you lower or avoid high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure are more likely to develop heart disease or have a stroke. Most people eat too much sodium, often without knowing it. The average American eats about 3,400 mg of sodium a day.

If you want to control your blood sugar then you need to add less sugar in your foods.

On the other part, eat too much sodium can also create some heart diseases, and we have to use limited amount of salts in your daily foods.

Even consumption of salts or sodium is the cause of heart arrest, and you can eat some foods that do not have any sodium such as fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and frozen vegetables without adding butter.
