Forest protection is the preservation or improvement of a forest threatened or affected by natural or man made causes

This forest protection also has a legal status and rather than protection from only people damaging the forests is seen to be broader and include forest pathology too. Thus due to this the different emphases around the worldparadoxically suggest different things for forest protection.

In German speaking countries, forest protection would focus on the biotic and abiotic factors that are non-crime related. Aprotected forest is not the same as aprotection forest. These terms can lead to some confusion in English, although they are clearer in other languages.

Forests are the very important to us. They provide a percentage of the world’s oxygen for one. Many animal species live there and birds build their nests on the trees. The water that comes from the wood is cleaner and the trees help prevent soil erosion. Plenty of furniture are made of wood and so does paper. All plants help reduce the air pollution. They need CO2 to produce their food and they can take on other harmful compounds from the air. The air on forests is called fresh for a reason. Some people also find a walk in the woods relaxing and of course forests provide a beautiful view compared to the grey of the city.
