Fiction is a force which resists or opposes the motion of an object.
On sandy surface, small mud particles acts as a slippery object which leads to less friction force on a moving object.
Therefore , mud particles cannot act as a resistor which lead to fiction.
Hence,Fiction act less on Sandy Areas.
