Friction helps as to walk, it helps to write, it help us to fix a nail, it help us to construct building etc.

Friction is important because without friction we can't even walk .And we can't even write on the paper .There are even disadvantages of friction like we know that friction produces heat, so if friction is used in machines it can produce lots of heat . So friction is a necessary evil.But one thing we can't have friction above the ozone layer that is space .
