why frog is called heartless creature?

The poet called the frog heartless because the frog made the bird to sing all night in rain .yes the frog is responsible for death of nightingale because it only made the bird to sing continuously which made the bird so weak.and at last because of weakness and tiredness the birds vein burst and it died .

Because the frog was cruel on the nightingale and wanted to kill her so that he becomes the unrivalled king of the bog again.
