✨The second world war had ended with the defeat of ottoman of Turkey ( Khalifa) who was considered the religious head of Muslims worldwide. This has turned the Muslims towards the British .
✨Hence , Mahatma Gandhi found in it , a good opportunity to bring the Hindus and Muslims under one umbrella .
✨Thus, he began discussing the issues with the Muslim Brothers Shaukat Ali and Muhammad Ali , also the Khilafat Committee was formed for the purpose .
And a combined struggle was launched both against the British as well as khilafat.
