Here's ur answer 》》》》

At the Second Round Table Conference (SRTC)  in London, B.R. Ambedkar put foward the demand of making a seperate electorates for the Backward classes. Gandhiji strongly opposed this but this idea was strongly supported by the British. Dissapointed, Gandhiji left the SRTC and did a fast-unto-death as he thought the this idea would slow down the integration of the Backward Classes into the society. Ultimately, Gandhiji's demand was accepted by B.R. Ambedkar and he dropped his idea of forming seperate electorates for the Backward Classes. Both of them entered into a pact called Poona Pact.

The main significance of this Pact was that it prevnted the British from slowing down the integration of the Backward classes into the society.

Hope it helps ☺⚡✌
