Why girls are short than boys?

Girls hit puberty at an earlier age than boys (before that growth is fairly similar between both boys and girls) and so they start growing earlier. This is why girls are often taller than boys of the same age when they are in their early teens. However, boys catch up, and do so very quickly. But lol I'm 5.10 XD ❤️
