We should take great care whole handling laboratory acids because acids are mostly corrosive. Some of them cause skin irritation whole some of them may damage the skin.
Eg: Hydrochloric Acid is very corrosive, if by mistake pour it on our hands, or went into our eyes, it can be very dangerous.
