why h20 is liquid whereas h2s is gas?

This is when the slightly positive hydrogen is attracted to the slightly negative oxygen (or other element for other compounds). The attraction means more molecules per volume, and thus more likely to form liquid instead of gas.

Sulphur is less electronegative than oxygen, hence the difference between H2O and H2S.

Good answer if h2 is water it is nice but if 02 is hydrogen bomb it blast.
