Another form of the disorder, known asacquired hemophilia, is not caused by inherited gene mutations. This rare condition is characterized by abnormal bleeding into the skin, muscles, or other soft tissues, usually beginning in adulthood.

Haemophilia is a genetical disorder in which the blood continues to flow even if there is a slight wound. It is more frequent in mens than in women because the recessive gene causing this disorder is X-gene and so if any one of the parent is haemophiliac, their son might be haemophiliac and for a girl to be haemophiliac, both parents need to be haemophiliac.
