Why has English become so popular in India? Give at least three reasons.

it is the British language and we know that British makes all india and Pakistan slavery
It is the most helpful for all countries
it is the modren super language

1. In past, British ruled all over the world and his language was English. So English become international language. 
2. Since India is a biggest country and don't have single language. Besides Hindi, the following languages are spoken by more than 25 million Indians -  Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam,  Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese etc. 
3. You can see in below picture that approx more than half Indian people spoken in regional language and each region's people don't want to leave their language.
