Indiangraduates of MIT, USA significantly influenced the creation of moderntechnological India. In the colonial period, a small group of Indians went toMIT as a way to develop technological capabilities for India. Indian graduatesof MIT played a key role in the founding of the Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT), and in the years after 1947, were central figures in the Indian steelindustry, the atomic program, and the space program. The Indian IT industrytoday is to an astounding degree the product of Indian graduates of MIT. It's bcz India have created many software professionals and programmers since a decade ago and many engineering colleges incl IITs nd NITs have played a pivotal role....
The IT industry in India is heavily dependent on US.
The rise in need for professionals in IT was so rapid...India had succeeded in providing high quality professionals at a low wage.
But unfortunately India is soon going to lose that position since China has emerged in supplying software programmers and professionals in a large number, maintaining the quality..
Each era has marked a rise of a new revolution..
Soon the digital or IT revolution is going to be replaced by AI revolution..
Now it's time for India to focus on AI rather than creating IT professionals
