Because kerela has highest litreracy rate in country.. kerela has better health and educational infrastructure than punjab..and kerela has better public facilities

It's because of the migration of male keralities in gulf countries )
2.literacy rate of kerala is higher( i.e. kerala = 94.0% & punjab = 75.8% ) year 2011.
