As per Article 23 of the Constitution of India, human trafficking is banned in this country.
Human trafficking gives rise to the slavery or the forced labor of the poor men and women, child labor, forced beggary and prostitution.
Hence, human trafficking gives way to serious violation of human rights and the exploitation of the unfortunate people who face the consequences of trafficking.
So this trade is rightfully declared illegal to save the poor and children from slavery and sex trade.
