1)To provide basic services and ammenities at affordable prices and without discrimination of caste,religion,gender etc.
2)To collect taxes from the citizens in order to keep providing facilities to the entire nation at affordable prices.
3)Certain industries which are high cost generation like electricity but are needed by the poorest as well.
