The poem “Be the best” is written by Douglas Malloch.

The poet endeavors to explain that we can “Be the best” even though we have not acquired a higher position in the society or may not be the center of attraction.

His perspective is not negative rather he tries to give importance even to those things which look minute to others. According to poet, whether the task is big or small if we do justice to our work we can still “Be the best”.

Conclusion:

The poet inspires us to “Be the best “irrespective of our position. The poet explains how the bush also has the same importance as the tree. The size doesn’t determine our success. It’s our perspective and attitude towards the work we do. So try to “Be the best” in whatever we do.
