Why heterogenous compound are more adsorbed than the homogenous compounds..?

heterogenous compounds are more adsorbed than the homogenous compounds because the force of attraction acting between homogenous compounds will at max. have vanderwaal force of attraction but heretrogenous compounds have many forces acting between the molecules like dipole dipole interaction,hydrogen bonding etc.
if adsorption has to take place the molecules needs to come closer on the surface to the adsorbent,if the forces of attraction between molecules is high then the tendency of molecule to come close is also more hence adsorption is more.
