It is a well known fact that there are a lot of well educated people in India right from Ancient times. Even the first University in the whole world originated from India named Takshaseela.

Each and every form of science roots to Discovery and Invention. Just because someone gave it a thesis form in some XXXX year, it doesn't mean that the knowledge didn't exist before. Galileo was born in born in 1564 yet there are thousands of references of planetary status and star positions in the manuscripts and paintings of Da Vinci who was born in 1452. Same applies with Darwin's Evolution theory where Hindu Good Avatars.

Hindu Gods are classified into two categories. Vishnus and Shivs.

Vishnus are those who are originated in India to help save the humanity is what Hindu Mythology claims. The actual fact here is Vishnus are great leaders who helped save humanity. Leaders were thereby worshiped as Vishnus/Gods so that their wisdom and ideals would spread through out the nation to motivate people. But if you have a close look at the list of Vishnus you can clearly find the resemblance between Vishnus and Darwin's Evolution theory which I will explain in a minute after I explain about Shivs.

Shivs are those kind of leaders who aren't originated in the place of conflict. They come from a different land and can clearly see the difference between Good and Evil as two different sides of the same coin. Shivs are the leaders with perspective thinking.

I don't want to go deep into Hindu Mythology as of why did the concept of Vishnus and Shivs come into existence thereby actually deviating from the real question, Are Hindu Gods Aliens? But all the above explanation is going to tie in. So lets take it in simple terms. Vishnus are Law makers who make the rules to keep the society in Order. Shivs are Path setters who set a path to the society to follow the laws and if necessary Shivs make adjustments and updates in the preset Laws.

So the real question, Are Hindu Gods Aliens (given their looks)?

Answer: No, they are just representation of Evolution on earth.

List of Avatars of Vishnus:

Matasya: The Fish- Life originated from the Ocean. Fish were the first vertebrates.

Kurma: The Tortoise- Amphibians then came out of the water and survived on the land part of the Earth.

Varaha: The Boar- This is the next milestone of Evolution. The complete transition of life form from Oceans to Lands.

Narasimha: The half Human Half Lion- This is the first concept of Homosepians and actually this is prime example of evolution gone wrong. There were a lot of speices that went through mutation over the years and but most of the couldn't handle and adapt to changes well enough, therefore extincted from the face of Earth. Now comes the mutation which went right.

Vaman: The dwarf naked man- This is evolution in right direction with where Chimpanzees finally evolved into Human beings.

Parsuram: Warrior with an Axe/Jungle Man- This is the barbaric period where people used to hunt down animals for food and lived in uncivilized societies.

Ram: The Prince- Humans evolved and with their great mental abilities and communication skills they formed colonies which lead to kingdoms. (Humanbeings were divided into caste systems according to the work they were allotted in this period).

Krishna: The Man- This is the actual representation of people living in today's society with greed and cunning nature with advancement in politics.

Budha: This is a Shiv avatar which went wrong and was considered as one of the Avatars of Vishnu given his personality and attitude. Gautama Budha was originated from Nepal and as explained above according to Hindu Mythology he had every quality to be a true Shiv.

Kalki: Humanity's End. The 10th Avatar of Vishnu is considered as the destroyer of Evil along with the human race. Kalki is the end of Kali Yug and we will start over again.

There are many theories stating that Venkateswara is 9th Avatar of Vishnu and Budha is a Shiv avatar and it might even be true. The point is the future isn't set and there is no writer to our destiny. We write our own future. So take this in this view. Vishnus aren't born, Vishnus are forged. Vishnu can be considered as synonym of a True Leader. But as the society advanced the society needed someone to look up to, someone to believe in, even someone to fear and hence they were made GODS. This applies to all the other religions in the world too.
