to put it simply, the tenates of Hinduism aren't about 'spreading' the word because there are no tenates. Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life. Hinduism is about accepting everyone and everything as it is.
Granted today's Hinduism is way different than what it was before powerful, rich people with influence started to twist the meaning for their own benefits. Traditionally, Hinduism was about worshiping and enjoying life. No wonder we have so many gods and goddesses.
one for rain, thunder, wind, plants, different forms of gods for different animals and their importance and significance, for birds, fishes and what not.
Hinduism has never been about ONE TRUE GOD or ONE TRUE WAY OF LIFE or ONE TRUE PATH FOR HEAVEN. And because Hinduism never promises Heaven or Hell but just re-incarnations post death there is no higher power who will decide where a person goes- to heaven or hell.
