Lok sabha is more powerful than Rajya sabha in cases of a money bill since such a bill can only originate in the Lok sabha
In cases of disputes or differences in opinion between the two houses, a joint session is convened and in such a joint Lok sabha has more power since the total membership of Lok sabha is more than twice that if Rajya sabha.
In cases of election of Vice President of India also Lok sabha enjoys more power for the same reason as mentioned above.
The entire ministry is collectively responsible to the Lok sabha because if Lok sabha passes a vote of no confidence or any such motions of censure against a minister or the whole ministry, in both cases the Council of Ministers along with the Prime Minister must resign collectively.
Moreover, Lok sabha members are directly elected by the people while Rajya sabha members are elected by the members of the parliament as well as the State Legislative Assembly. Hence Lok sabha is referred to as the 'House of the people' and can be considered more powerful than Rajya Sabha.
