Why human body dries up quickly than clothes ?

Water will dry out more quickly if it is put in a shallow dish rather than in a mug. In a liquid, molecules moving fast enough have sufficient energy to turn into a vapour or gas. When this happens it is called evaporation. When the fast molecules leave, the temperature of the remaining water decreases.
