Explanation:

Hydrogen is an explosive and flammable gas. Hydrogen gas can react with 0oxygen to form water but the process liberates quite amount of energy. That is why the reaction is also called as the hydrogen bomb. Now using hydrogen gas as electrodes can be very harmful especially at high temperatures as these electrodes can explode and are a safety hazard.

HELLO DEAR,

Hydrogen gas electrode in a suitable for high temperature because hydrogen gas required very low temperature to burn and make explosion.

As it has burning nature , we keep it in less lemperature or out of reach of oxygen.

The standard hydrogen electrode is a redox electrode which form the basis of electrodynamics scale of oxidation reduction potential.

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
