the fluorine is the most electronegative elements in the periodic table. the halogen are like as fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine are electronegative elements which is prsent at group 17 of peri. table the electronic configuration of halogens are ns² np5 hence the show same behaviour as electronegative elements and halogens have behaviour to combine with othe elements quickly attack on electron defficient species the cobalt and nickel are hard and ductile hence chlorine and bromine have to combine with this elements of atom.
