Why if a bottle of conc. h2so4 is left open in the atmosphere by accident the acid starts flowing out of the bottle on its own??

It absorbs moisture from air and gets diluted. Since the volume increases, the acid starts flowing out of bottle. Generally 98% Sulphuric acid is called as concentrated sulphuric acid. Sulphuric acid is highly hygroscopic i.e it will attract water molecules immediately from its vicinity
