why in a room it is best place for a roomheater on the floor but an air conditioner near ceiling.

Roomheaters are placed on floor because the warm air is lighter so it rises up and roomheaters can heat entire room by setting up convection currents and air conditioners are placed near ceiling because the cold air is heavier and it settles down so when it is placed near ceiling so it can cool with entire room
