Why in pure oxygen a substance burns five times faster than in air?

because in air, oxygen is present only 20% or 1/5th of air

it means oxygen is important source to burn any substance in impure form it contain mixture of gases which decrease its efficiency so oxygen is in pure form when we burn any combustible substance in presence of pure oxygen it burn 5 times faster then when it burn in simple environment
