When a white light is pass through a
prism it get dispersed into seven different colours and when we again pass the seven colour lights through another prism it recombine to form a white light

It is due to the newton experiment , of keeping a inverted a prism, from which again all the seven colours get recombine into white light.
Since we came to know that, when a ray of light is passed through a prism it get split into 7 colours and again, when we put a prism (inverted) all the seven colours get reconverted into white light
