why india need a federal government?

India is a democratic country ,,which means people govern themselves through their elected representatives ...India is a very big nation..with 29 states (including telangana) so...it would be very difficult for one government to control and govern the whole nation ..that is why ...different states have different government so that the country can run smoothly.....
