India took so long to understand the importance of nationalism because of the following reason

• firstly the Indian people are uneducated and they were under the rule of Britishers and when they were gain the Independence they think that the Independence was enough for them but later the criticises of people between their gender caste religion become main reason for war between the people of India
• during 18th century middle class people or as you catered middle class people things that then India should become the nation state because there was so many religions in India but all have to treat equally and law all have to do whatever they want
• the reforms was made and the uprising of educated middle class helps to upgrading the nation state in nation state the people was not judge according to their religion caste gender and now India was a nation country and India all people isl live with equality
• the above was the following reason that why India took so much time to be nationalism
