Answer:

Let the length of the rectangle be x

and breadth be y

Given that length is 5 more than breadth so

x = y + 5

Let the perimeter be p = 2(x+y)

p = 2(y+5 +y )

p = 4y + 10

p - 4y +10 = 0 is the required polynomial!!!

Let length be 'L' cm

breadth be 'b' cm

now acc. to question,

L =5 + b

we know,

(p)perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b)

putting value of L here,

p= 2[ ( 5+b)+b]

p = 10 + 4b

p -4b -10=0
