why indian education system sucks?

When look at indians occupying the Top notch positions in global MNCs and tech giants like Google,Qualcom,Microsoft,Fb,Adobe etc.
36% of NASA workers are indians or 38% doctors in US are indians. These claims does not make indian education system good.
The reason is their sucess has nothing to do with indian education system. Moreover IITs,NITs,CFTIs and Aiims does not define indian education systems. Hardly 0.001 % of total indians geaduate out of so called top notch institution and are destined to get a high paying job irrespective of how they perform.Most of them are deserving. But the question is do they really like what they are pusuing for???? Will it give purpiseful life only they know this.
Now coming back to the question.We have 23 iits 31 NIts,20 iims,13 Aiims,6 iisers and 5 Nisers and few good central universities. But are they enough for 1.3 billion Population it is the question Still unanswered.
The Loopholes in Education system
Lack of passion among students.Mostly people choose educational streams by parental or peer pressure
2 faced domination by engineering and Medicine and media hype kills passion to pursue any other field.
Absence of cross-major streams: Once you choose anything you cant have chance to study any other field.There is no option to back out
Lack freedom in choosing your expertise you have to choose what they give you or what is available that is settle for less
Same indus valley civilisation methods of teaching.Schools force students to rote learn the theories.Same happens in higher education too
Poor infrastructre,even top notch institutions lack astounding facility.modernalised labs and materials for practicals are absent. Only 2% of gdp soent on education as per reports but that too looks like an myth.
Extreme privatisation is being allowed by govts to meet their fund raising goals for their benefit.These institution loot people for money and give a dead paper of graduation certificate.Which is used only to confirm your DOB in future and nothing else.
Rservation in every sector enables true talents to perish away and undeservingto climb up the ladder and ruin ebery thing.

Everything is about rote memorization, leading to behavior which encourages cramming and forgetting rather than life long learning. Absolute truth. No matter how many CBSE students say that they are the only students who actually understand what's being thought, that also becomes a lie once you cross grade 10.
