I'm telling you only two reasons.
1.Dense growth of thick trees and canopy. The the forest floor is dark since the thick canopy doesn't allow the sunlight to penetrate.
2.There are different species of animal and habitat is quite cool since the suitable temperature and rainfall are enough. Temperature exists between 24-27°c whereas rainfall exits between 150-200 cm.

Tropical forests are also called evergreen forests because trees in these forests the trees shed their leaves at different times of the year and therefore it remains green throughout the year. This is why they are also known as evergreen forests
