Why indian farming different from USA farming

In India agriculture work is carried mostly by manual labor and less by technology whereas in US agriculture activities are more driven by technology and less by manual labor. . In India, major crops grown are rice,wheat,cotton. In US major crops grown are wheat,corn,soyabeans.
