Why Indian people are backward?

indian people are backward because they don't use scientific method and technology and because no use of special equipments in industries.
In India about 60%people are depend on agriculture and they don't know about how to use agricultural equipments.

Indians are nt backward its just because of reservations here that most jobs are offered to minorities hence,the deserving people dont get the benifit of it..otherwise several higher officials of large mnc's are Indians for eg:-SUNDAR PICHAI,CEO OF GOOGLE..
