why infection desease are called communicable disease

Infectious diseases are called communicable due to their potential of transmission from one person or species to another by replicating agent.
Infectious disease are caused by germs.It ca. n be caused by animal bites etc.It can be prevent by vaccines, proper hand washing, medicines.

Infectious disease: The disease which transfer easily from one to another are called infectious disease. Eg: AIDS, Tuberculosis, Cholera, Pneumonia ets.
This type of disease are transmitted from one to another so this disease are communicable disease.
