Why inlet port is smaller than exhaust port in engine?

Hey there..!

Increase the Size of an Inlet Valve than Exhaust Valve. Because inlet air (or) air-fuel mixture has less pressure as compared to exhaust gas. After the power stroke the exhaust gas in the engine cylinder has more pressure & temperature and gases are ready to leave into the combustion chamber
