Answer:

Insulin is naturally produced by the pancreas of the healthy person.

It keeps the sugar in the blood under control

If the amount of insulin produced decreases or stops it increases the sugar in blood causing diabetes

It is given to diabetic patients to do this function as their pancreas cannot produce insulin.
