it is actually a mental disease from my point of view I do not know how others think.
so my description is that
those introvert ppl think that 'that is the end of the road' and nothing else.so mentally they visualise that they are alone then gradually they start living alone leaving all the socialness behind.and they it is difficult for them to mingle with ppl again.
this can be changed when a person thinks that there is something called as the U TURN for that specific road and this can change their life.
