Why ionic compounds are stronger than covalent compounds?
Good question,
Here is your perfect answer!
Actually the fact is that ionic compounds have ionic bonds and covalent compounds have covalent bonds xD
Lemme explain,
Ionic bonds means bond between charges (ions) and covalent bonds means bond between neutral particles.
So ionic bonds are stronger because of electrostatic force between + and - , while covalent bonds are not.
