Why iron nail sink in water but ship is not sink into water ?

it is so because weight of iron nail is greater than that of water that's why it's sink in water.. nd on the other hand,, ship works on the principle of Archimedes' principle which states that the upthrust is more than the weight of the ship. That is why the iron ship floats in water. In short, we can say that the shape of the ship makes its overall density less than that of water and hence the ship floats.
