why iron sink in water but a ship made of iron floats?​

As the density of iron skin is more than that of water

the volume of water much displaced is much higher than the volume of the iron ship the upthrust is more than the weight of the ship.that's why iron ship floats in the river

But the volume of the ship is greater, it displaces a large volume of water.Weight of displaced water is high . So it creates a big upthrust. This upthrust is greater than the weight of ship. So the ship floats.
