why is a copper wire not used in the filament of a bulb or as a heating element of heater? what will happen if we use a thick tungsten wire in an electric bulb

Copper wire is not used in filament of a bulb because it does not have a higher resistance hence it will illuminate negligible amount of light.
if we will use a thick tungsten wire so the surface area will be more resulting more amount of heat and less amount of light.
