the minimum focal lenght for the eye is 25 0r more than 25 cm for adults and 20 cm for boys.an object kept at 10 cm is unable to focus by the eye thus the object appears blur and is vey hard to look.

The ciliary muscles of our eyes are unable to contract after a certain point.
If the object is placed at a distance less than 10 cms from our eyes, then it will be reflected beyond the retina making it blurry for the viewer.
This happens because the light rays emitted are emitted to a point other than the focal point.
