series is not used in domestic circuit because as the are connected end to end resistance increase s and current will not flow through it

In a series circuit the current is constant throughout the circuit. Thus it is not practical to connect domestic appliances in series because different appliance need different currents of widely different values. Another reason is if one component fails then the circuit is broken and then none of the components will work.
