why is a sociologist understanding of society different from that of a lay person?

A sociologist analyses the society in a scientific way. He studies different components of society. He understands how the things are happening in a society, how the work is divided among different people, the education systems, their financial situation etc. which are related to a society. but a lay person does nothing, just sees a bunch of people.

Sociologist is person who is actually a doctor who treats the brains of people and this person thinks or understands everything easily than us the normal persons
